Perched on the side of a mountain in Mills River NC, this mountain retreat second home is a relatively recent build in which the owners wanted to bring a new style to the kitchen and pantries. The surrounding lush mountain landscape of the home dictated the use of rich color and natural white oak.

The footprint of the kitchen space was enlarged slightly, the laundry room and master bathroom were double in size.
